The Rebecca years? were so-so (at first), and they got sillier towards the end of the series (although there were certainly some great moments, right up to the end, they were fewer & farther between). The Diane Years were the best, and they were extremely lucky (as were the viewers!) that they found Woody Harrelson, and added him to the show, to add that same naivete that Nicholas Colasanto did so well! And yes, that line you mentioned was another real gem!

Funny the? things they edit out "You're a communist republic, you're a red regime" on the syndicated reruns. Lastly, I also love the line in this episode.....Diane asks Coach if Sam and the teacher were kissing "with probing tongues" and Coach replies "No, with a thumbtack!"
