Unlike a lot of Pacino fans, De Niro fans don't? go out of their way to bash Pacino (I guess a lot of it has to do with the fact that they are generally bigger movie fans that appreciate both actor as opposed to just one). And like I said, it's obviously some weird inferiority complex. Any real Pacino fans knows that Pacino's biggest rival during his prime was Dustin Hoffman, not De Niro.

This scene is like an apex for me. I bought the movie, not knowing that this was forthcoming. This transcends most anything in the history of Hollywood. Two super heavyweights, perhaps in the tail end of their? respective primes, but the performances completely deliver what they both have on top of their game. Both of these actors were "The guys", and neither is backing down, neither one "wins". We may never see anything like this again...
